Hi, I want to create a grid that contains certain pages (not posts), kinda like a portfolio - how do I do this? Is there somewhere where you set up a tag or category for pages so you can select just those to go in the grid? Thanks!

I understand your issue, By default, WordPress doesn’t have tag or caetgory support for pages, you could use 3rd party plugin and it will work like post and you will able to choose page by categories. you could try following plugin to tag support on pages.

otherwise, in pro version, there is a feature you can display page by ids,
